- starting from the academic year 2020/2021 -

The six-semester long Music Culture bachelor degree programme is a blend of traditional and modern, contemporary values: on one hand, students are trained in the spirit of Hungarian music educational concepts and practices of Zoltán Kodály, mainly articulated in our solfege, folk music, choral classes; on the other hand – in our individual instrumental and vocal studio lessons  emphasis is laid upon developing individual and group performance skills.

The specialisation in Computer Music is built around always-updated, contemporary topics. Activities aim to form skills and knowledge on computer music notation, electronic music, sound recording techniques, moreover, students can practice and complete and try out their knowledge in direct, at our local, institutional TV, radio studios.
Upon completion of the degree, students can either pursue their studies on Masters level, or get employed by artistic institutions, play or sing in different amateur/professional music ensembles (orchestras, choirs), or work at TV/radio stations. Moreover, in case of choosing the music educational field, our graduates can enrich their future teaching practices by the unique values of Hungarian music pedagogy.
